'Let the Show Begin' comes to The Commons

The Commons and Slieveardagh featured on Pat Hayes’s ‘Let the Show Begin’ this afternoon.

Congratulations to Pat and his ‘Let the Show Begin’ crew for taking time to get a real feel for the area, and producing a really interesting and informative programme! This is the best of local broadcasting with first rate local knowledge- thank you Seamus Purcell, nice one AYOZAT TV sky channel 184.

Seamus Purcell talked all about the local history and heritage. The day Pat visited was very wet, so we were delighted when the programme was filmed in the Miners Kitchen in the Old School. Seamus had taken Pat and his crew on a tour of the area in the rain, and so there is lots to see and hear about. John O’Connell was also on hand to talk about the village and tidy towns. Thank you to Pat Hayes, Seamus and John for this excellent programme.
